Concord Dollars for Scholars - July 2016
The 8th annual golf outing (7th named for Larry " Jake" Jackowiak ) sponsored by Concord Dollars for Scholars. A hundred and twelve participants registered and enjoyed the beautiful day and the Bent Oak Golf Course. Twenty-two volunteers pitched in and registered the 30 foursomes, organized the raffle and sold mulligan tickets. There were also 26 hole sponsors from the community. Mike Auger, Concord Dollars for Scholars Board Member and Golf Outing Chairman commented on the event results, "Thanks to everyone for making it a successful day. Honoring Jake - a tireless worker for our district, and for a great cause, these events have provided additional scholarships for 28 more kids in our community."
