November 30, 2012 - The Dollars for Scholars raffle drawing was at noon during lunch at the high school.

Concord Student Board Member Taylor Reverman pulled the tickets from each of the buckets.

Concord Dollars for Scholars Awards Breakfast - May 10, 2013

One Hundred and seven Concord Senior Dollars for Scholars scholarship winners were pleasantly suprised when Board President, Mike Schoeffler announced that the award amount would be $600 for each student.  The Board had a successful year in fundraising - thanks to the generosity of administrators, teachers, and the community, and was able to increase the award amount by $100.

Brick Program Presents Concord Dollars For Scholars with Check - June 11, 2013

Elkhart, IN-June 11, 2013. In a presentation following the final Board meeting of the school year, organizers of the Legacy Brick Program presented the Concord Dollars for Scholars program with a check for $4,000 at Jake Field, Concord High School's football stadium.

The Legacy Brick program is a joint fundraising effort between the Concord Dollars for Scholars program, the Concord Music Department and the Concord Athletic department. Bricks are being sold for $100 per brick with an opportunity for personalized messages on each. Bricks are being placed in the ground at the front gate of Jake Field.

"This donation will enable Dollars for Scholars to continue to grow its scholarships to graduating seniors," stated Mike Schoeffler, Board President. "We are grateful for first run of the Legacy Brick program and all involved in making this program extremely successful."

July 18, 2013 was the 5th annual golf outing (4th named for Larry " Jake" Jackowiak ) sponsored by Concord Dollars for Scholars.  A hundred and twelve participants registered  and enjoyed the beautiful day and the Bent Oak Golf Course. Twenty-two volunteers pitched in and registered the 30 foursomes,  organized the raffle and sold mulligan tickets.  There were also 26 hole sponsors from the community. George Dyer, Concord Dollars for Scholars Board Member and Golf Outing Chairman commented on the event results,  "Thanks to everyone for making it a successful day.  Honoring Jake - a tireless worker for our district, and for a great cause, these events have provided additional scholarships for 28 more kids in our community."
